DeleteUnfortunately, this is an error resulting from a database misconfiguration. IP address tracing is done using a database maintained by MaxMind, and they have always said that their database is *not* fine-grained enough to be accurate down to household level; unfortunately, many people choose to ignore this. The "location" returned, by the very nature of the database, can only be a location, with no indication of the uncertainty radius (the size of the circle within which the actual location could be anywhere), and the location for IP addresses until recently attached to the "mystery farm house" was actually the default for those IP addresses (such as those of the AOL servers) whose only known location is "somewhere within the continental US" -- so the uncertainty radius for this location is about 1,500 miles. The FBI know this (having themselves made the same mistake a few times), which is why they're not interested.
DeleteTry doing the same IP location lookup today, and you will find that it now points to the middle of a lake east of Wichita.

I am being gang stalked and targeted for blowing the whistle on a Lt John Jake Blake sos Chicago police 2004 scandal!! This case has brought me to be directly targeted and linked to this IP address with all government official is turning a blind eye.. I am targeted 247, have lost my identity, have gotten my character assassinated and much much more! In retaliation for my whistle blowing i have lost my mother and sister and now my brother was targeted in prison where he is now dying! The fbi does nothing regardless of my constant complaints! I have the Lt sons name as having created remote access on my computers and he's an engineer from Ohio!! Still I get no help the government is bitter because they lost their number one robber with a badge John jAke Blake!!
DeleteThe fbi should start by investigating the Blake family from Ohio beginning with the son Russ Blake engineer from hell!! I've endured this type of remote torture for well over 10 years and am disgusted at the fact that these people will have a contract out to assassinate me remotely and no one does anything! Also lost my right my freedom!! These people will face the judgement of God and will rot in hell one day!
DeleteHow can the FBI investigate, when the only known location for this person (that given by the IP address) is "somewhere within the US"? One can't get a much more vague location than that.
DeleteThe fbi knows damn well that everyone linked to that farmhouse is being linked in retaliation for blowing the whistle on a corrupted official! They know damn well that they are looking the other way because they too are covering up!! Everyone linked has a reason behind being linked we all have something in common and it's the fact that we are being targeted for blowing the whistle on someone and are then set up to be monitored and tortured electronically through this underground systemic corrupted system! The fbi chooses to look the other way when it's very clear that we are all linked to this place in order to be punished and retaliated against! Electronic monitoring, cyber bullying, spying and even over exposure to radio frequency! It's called gang stalking and it's set up right there in that farmhouse!

They are running CentOS and using Apache version 2.2.15 for their webserver.
Interesting thing is they are using a newer version of mod_ssl (2.2.23) this is a security module for Apache to prevent most attack (not all) they are also using OpenSSL version 1.0.1e (which is very old and vulnerable to attack) and their server is using an fips based processor.
